(Los Angeles) Homeless Not Toothless is thrilled to be honoring this special event. Celebrity Martial Arts Expert and Fitness Trainer Zak Lee Guarnaccia performs the "The RunMaker" Extreme Fitness challenge running virtually non-stop for 20 hours every day on treadmill till he will reach the sale of at list 10.000 unit (DVDs) of his film RULES to raise funds for foster kids dental care! Every purchase of his latest film, "Rules DVD" ( www.rulesfilm.com) will be considered donations to his run with proceeds benefitting these underprivleged children's dental services.

The "RunMaker" Extreme-Fit event raise money to re-furbish a dental clinic for 28,000 area foster children as part of Brentwood dentist Dr. Jay Grossman's Homeless NOT Toothless charity (http://www.homelessnottoothless.org) supported by the Actress and Philanthropist Sharon Stone.

I had been looking forward to my work out today all day yesterday.  I knew I had plenty of time to get in a really good work out.  I wanted to run on the treadmill.  Specifically I wanted to use the tv to help me build up my mileage.  While the tv show is on I would run, and I would walk during commercials.  I got up early this morning, got a few things done this morning and was looking forward to a great, sweaty work out.  When I got to the gym, all of a sudden I didn't feel like running.  So I decided to do the cross ramp.  Right before I hit 10 minutes on the cross ramp I had the sudden urge to run.  I was so happy to have this feeling.  Apparently all I needed to do was warm up! So I finished up the 10 minutes and got on a treadmill.  It felt so great to run.  I watched a movie so the commericals were a little bit farther apart than the first time I did this exercise.  It was great, I had to put myself out of my comfort zone.  Then I had another great experience.  After my great cardio I needed to do abs.  I was quite tired. But I had to tell myself that having a strong core is important if I want to be a better runner.  So i worked my abs pretty hard!All in all a great work out.  I did an hour and a half.

I decided to start running at 51 years old-- crazy right?  Watching BL contestants run a 1/2 marathon last week inspired me.  Found a website that others seem to like, and it even has podcasts with music to talk you through each weeks program.  It's called Couch to 5K and its a 9 week program to get you to running 3 miles 3x week.  Sounds okay to me.I did already workout this morning, and tried out running.  I usually walk or do something 30 mins, so I thought I'll see if I can run part of that time.  So I started wiht 6 minutes and then I did another 7 minutes after a walking interval.  Total of 13 mins running out of 30 mins.  I thought that was pretty good.  LIstening to music definitely helped as did not focusing on the time.  I'm feeling inspired, especially since I am hearing that running is the best way to lose weight...
