Yesterday I went to the doctor's office and got on the scale. I was shocked! My weight has reached an all-time high of 270 lbs. That means I am 105 lbs over the normal weight limit and 50lbs over the obese limit for me. That was a real eye opener. I have never owned a scale before because I hate getting on them. I never told anyone what I wighed a just tried to hide my weight under baggy cloths.
But I can see now that I need to face this problem instead of hide from it. It is negativly been affecting my life since I was a kid. I love the outdoors and sports but I can't enjoy them like I want to because my weight is slowing me down.
My plan is to watch my calorie intake and try to eat healthy, lean meals. I am going to be exersizing everyday. I started by riding my bike to class today instead of taking the train, a ten mile trip! Although tired, I feel great! I intend to got to my local 24 hour fitness tomorrow and purchase a gym membership.
