Yes, where did all the dead people go, the ones Allison used to see 'in person' every episode ? Anyone know why the producers put a stop to such visitations?

Lazy writing. If you'll notice, a lot of the shows from this season and last season have followed the same formula. Allison has a dream that makes her misinterpret something, and she goes out on a limb to say she knows what's happening, then she has another dream that puts her closer to the path and "Oh, I see, it was my view on the situation that was wrong and now THIS dream has told me the truth", and she makes another plea based on the new dream, then towards the end she has a final dream, after she's done as much damage as she possibly can with the other two dreams, this dream acting as a Deus Ex Machina to solve the case.
Lazy writing, and disappointing, really.
