I'd like to correspond with other fans who can't let go of the past. I love the show (even though I do have some criticism of the recent seasons) but I'm really stuck on the reruns! My favorite cast is from Season 3 with Ben Stone, Claire Kincaid, Lenny Briscoe and Mike Logan....

I like the new cast, especially our new detective, but I hate the writers and producers that impose something as stupid on us as the "Executions" script.
Really ruins it for me.
Get this: they can't prosecute the doctor's killers because the actual target-doctor won't admit he was the execution doctor, so they force him to testify by accusing him of being a murderer as an execution doctor.
Just how was that they could demonstrate he was the doctor on the old executions, but not the screwed up execution?

Man, this was one intense weeks of Law and Order and the spin-offs ever! This Family Affair one has to be one of the best original recipe episodes ever.
