This guy in town here is driving me nuts. I am not a cars salesperson but he for some reason he thinks I can sell a car for him. It is a 1942 Ford Deluxe. One of the ones built before Roosevelt did the thing, a call back perhaps, or a halting of making these cars because of the war. It is black or dark blue. Cannot tell because it is not shiny, the way old cars are supposed to be. It has a radio in it. It is very spacious. I did not see any rust. It is quite dusty. The seats are not ripped to shreds. It has wheels and it has bumpers. It does not look like it should be in a scrap yard. It is in a garage and it is facing east. This is important because years ago this man took a picture of me standing in front of it and we were facing west. This means the car is able to move, which means it must still have an engine it. It was shiny then. This was in 1984. He may have had it in parades in this town at one time, because his dad used to have a Model T, that he always exhibited in the parades. I would not have noticed the Ford Deluxe being as everyone who does not know anything about cars would only notice the Model T. His father sold the Model T. He has passed on. I suppose the son is trying to be like his father and wishes to also sell an old car. Please help. He is driving me nuts. He is also driving my friend nuts. Are all car geeks relentless? Maybe you two should meet?
