Whatever the outcome, it was a privilege to have experienced the delicious sounds and sights of NBC's launching, "Clash of the Choirs"
So enjoyable, the seeming spontaneity of the concept with real, of-the-street people; no camera shots of celebrities in the audience, etc....a winning format...and let's not change it...keep all the ingredients as they are...we felt connected to each and every one of the choir members and their directors and know class when it's presented to us..Way to go NBC!

The show was clash of the choirs. Cincinatti showed all aspects of what a choir can and should do.Their blend was amazing, their pitch was outstanding, and their stage presence was wonderful. There is more to a choir than having a group of soloists that are trying to outsing one another. The first night Labelle's team mopped the floor with the other choirs, however, that only happened the first night.If her group had performed different genres, then maybe we would have seen a different outcome. Did anyone else notice that all of the choirs (except Cincinnati) sounded vocally fatigued? Their voices were more airy, rough, cracking? That is what happens when choirs are not taught to use their instruments properly. They were yelling. Patti is wonderfully talented, but even she would not do what she asked her choir to do without doing some damage to vocal chords.

I understand how could be upset by the shows results, but some questions:

When was Team Lachey at the bottom?

Isn't competition about GROWTH as well as natural talent? Isn't it possible that Nick's team showed more of this than any of the other teams?

And let's be real, We're talking about PATTI LABELLE! She's LEGEND and has had more of an impact on music as we know it than probably anyone who's reading this right now. This will in NO way cause a dent in her rep.

Life has a way of bringing out the best in people or worse!!!! It is a wonderful thing to see cultural diversity. Each group sang and rejoiced ,yet we are still compelled to challenge!!!!!! Patty is a great artist unconditionally and her professionlism while directing her team incredible. Her group was far more talented and each individual in her group must understand winner never lose and loser never win. Everyone tonight won because God!!!! will not make a mistake. therefore it has be written so it be done.

I am glad Team Lachey won. Congrats to them. The other choirs were really good also. I voted for Team Lachey. Team Patti did great, but we don't know that they were #1 everynight. The first night a choir was voted off the show, Team Shelton was the first team told they were safe. This was voted on by the viewers, so I guess last night, people were more impressed with Team Lachey than anyone else. Great job to all the teams.

I'm totally ticked off!! I didn't even find out about this show until earlier today thanks to the power of the internet and YouTube because I've been boycotting TV for the last year!! I was totally blown away by each and every performance of Team LaBelle!!! I was calling folks that have been watching all along and knowing I don't watch TV and why, raising saying at them for not telling me this show was on!!

Team LaBelle was ROBBED!!! There's no other way to say it! They were!!! I've seen many choirs in my day and they were EVERYTHING a choir is SUPPOSED to be!! The other choirs were good, I'm not trying to take that from them but Patti's choir was freaking GREAT, PHENOMENAL and ASTOUNDING!!!! Just when I thought it was safe to watch tv again...I was shown EXACTLY why I should NEVER watch again!!!!!!!

I agree Patti was robbed!!! Maybe Tracy Morgan pointed to the wrong team? He didn't say the name of the winner he just pointed. There is no way that Lachey's team should have won over Patti's. They were all good and it was for a good cause but we all know that Patti's team out sung EVERYBODY!

I agree that all of the performances were great!!! But, I am very upset at that fact that Patti LaBelle and "Team Pattie" did not win. Everybody knew that Team Pattie did so well that people who was there at the event and people who was at home watching, had tears in their eyes. When a song touches you to the point whereas you would have tears in your eyes-I think that is the work of God and the work of excellence. Every time they sang, all I could say is "WOW"!!! They deserved the award!!! It just makes me wonder about how our society is; which is so full of it and is nothing but a big set up. IF ANYBODY AGREE OR EVEN DISAGREE-PLEASE LET ME KNOW!!!
