The greatness that is 'Chuck'

I have watched CHUCK since its inception and have found it a delightful diversion and even hilarious despite the ever-present obnoxious Gomez. My favorite character other than Levi Strauss is Adam Baldwin. His cynicism is beyond belief. Why hasn't this series returned to NBC? The writers' strike is over. No more excuses! Bring back CHUCK!

've been watching "Chuck" for the past few weeks now, (it's on at this moment actually) and honestly find it to be of mediocre quality compared to other NBC shows like "30 Rock", "My Name is Earl", and "The Office". Unlike these shows, "Chuck" seems to rely on gimmicks, humor based less on good writing and more on the fact that the comic relief characters are quirky, and shallow characters who's actions are then insufficiently motivated. My suspicion is that whatever success "Chuck" does enjoy in the way of ratings comes mainly from having a time slot in which the other options are subpar. This may explain the network's hesitation to make a full commitment to the show. I would love for "Chuck" to maintain its high production value, its high calibre guest stars, and obviously talented cast. I believe the writing needs serious reconsideration. "Chuck" is a good idea that needs an injection of talented, creative, and innovative writers who will develop well rounded characters instead of settling for recycled cliches of television shows past.

LOVE CHUCK, Greatest show on TV right now. If they cancel this show I am officially done with tv. Last year I got all into Jericho (CBS) and then they cancelled it. I DVR Chuck so I can watch it again and again, it always makes me laugh. NBC you finally did something right this year..keep it going!

I stopped being a "Chuck" fan after the episode where Morgan was worried about saving his job. The fact that the writers of this show had Big Ed tell Morgan that since he was his only Chicano employee, he would not fire him no matter how bad of an employee he was. That was so stupid, hurtful and untrue that I cannot believe that they put that in the show! Now people will go around believing that may be true hiring and firing policy, even though it completly is not. Why on earth would the writers of this show do that? There was absolutly nothing to gain with that statement, but so very much to loose. Such as the shows integrity, as well as my household's support of "Chuck" and all those who endorse this show in the future.
