My proposal
My husband and I have been married for six years. He had a son from a previous relationship when we met. We dated for awhile before I ever met Alex. He was the sweetest little boy. It took my husband and I awhile before we realized that we loved each other. We had both been through some rough relationships in the past. I remember he kept trying to get me to give him advice on a ring, but I kept avoiding the situation. I was afraid if I talked about it that the feeling that it was to good to be true would go away. Well my husband got the ring and I can remember the day he proposed just like it was yesterday. He gave the ring to Alex. Alex came to me and ask me if I would marry his daddy. It was the sweetest thing I have ever had happen to me. I couldn't say anything because of the tears. I finally managed to say yes and then we took Alex to eat at Burger King like we were already a family.
