A: Fan It is NBC.com's affinity program where members are awarded points for participation and interaction. Members can choose to redeem these points for a variety of rewards and/or experiences.
Q: Is Fan It free?
A: Yes! All you have to do is sign up or log into myNBC to get started!
Q: Why do I have to enter by Facebook/Twitter/MySpace information during registration?
A: This is an optional part of the Fan It experience where you can earn points for posting various things on these other social networks. You can pick which profiles you'd like to link, or none at all. You are not required to link your myNBC to any other social networking profiles account to participate, but doing so ensures that you will receive points for events and challenges that occur off of NBC.com.
Q: How do I earn points?
A: There are two different ways to earn points: events and challenges. Events are the activities you do on the site and on the social networks you've linked to every day, such as leaving comments, watching videos, playing games, posting links or updating your status. Challenges require you to perform specific events within a specific amount of time and are typically worth more points. Click here for more information on how to earn points.
Q: Why didn't I get points after completing a challenge?
A: It can take up to 2 hours for newly earned points to be posted. If you feel there is an issue with your current point total, click here for technical support.
