The greatness that is 'Chuck'

Friday, October 26th, 2007, 1:01 pm

NBC's new hit show Chuck has been climbing in the ratings since it premiere in late september. This weeks episode brought in it's highest rating yet, going so far as to top the replay ratings for on Saturday. Why is this you may ask? Because Chuck is one of the greatest shows ever put on television.

Now I may be biased considering I am also a nerd (I prefer the term geek but whatever) at heart. But I do think others who aren't "nerds" also agree. The show has a great mixtue of comedy, action, and drama behind it. An awesome cast: Zachary Levi and Joshua Gomez are the next Laurel and Hardy (just not as slapsticky), wonderful writing (sure they are a few wrong facts but they are very minimal), and an overall great look. The show also has great pop culture references scattered throughout every episode.

I will end this with just one question: Why hasn't NBC announced this show as permanent fixture yet?
