myNBC vs NBC.com boards
myNBC is now a week old...so I thought I would post some of my thoughts on the whole integration between myNBC and NBC.com.
I like the concept of a single sign-on for all things NBC.com related. That said, it seems to me that the actual implementation and integration between myNBC and the message boards has been buggy, and left a lot of NBC.com board users pretty un-happy 
to say the least.
Rather than having one profile to cover myNBC and NBC.com, I would like to see the profiles on each site to be independent and totally separate, except, that each profile includes a link back to its counterpart.
If someone is looking at my myNBC profile, they can click on a link and see if I'm a member of the messageboard and look at my board stats. If someone is looking at my board profile and wants to see my myNBC profile, they can click on a link too.
Who's with me? :)
Current message board issues / bugs:
- Board setttings are no longer accessible
- Report post is broken
- No access to message board profiles
