(Dec. 3) -- At 44, Emmy-winning actress Mariska Hargitay is just getting started. The self-described late-bloomer tells Ladies' Home Journal that she believes her late start has everything to do with losing her mom, actress Jayne Mansfield, at the age of three. "I just didn't think I was very good," she says. "All my life I'd had this problem with following through, not feeling that I was worth it. Not having a mother makes you think, 'If only I'd been better, she wouldn't have left me.'"

Late start or no, Hargitay has certainly pulled herself together. She splits her time between work, family, and her duties as founder and president of a charity organization for rape victims. She says, "I'm so grateful I was given these opportunities at a point in my life when I could really handle it all. I got my gig late, got married late, had my kid late – and none of it came a minute too soon."

Now, Hargitay and her husband Peter Hermann are trying to have another baby. The couple has one son already, two-year-old August, whom Hargitay calls "the oxygen in my water." In the Ladies' Home Journal's January issue, Hargitay claims she'd leave 'Law & Order: SVU' to spend more time with her family. She says, "I just want to see my kid."

It was kinda sad, although I totally see where she's coming from. I REALLY HOPE SHE DOESN'T LEAVE! I'd rather the series end than her leave because without her, there is no series.

On another note, Wildlife, the ep that aired a few weeks ago was amazing. I LOVED the E/O scene naturally...I keep playing it over and over lol... (youtube).

And the one last night was good too with the flashbacks Olivia was having and stuff with her PTSD. I was wondering when they were gonna bring that back..they touched on it at the end of the season 10 premier. But I wasn't too happy that Chris wasn't in this episode because they both need to be in the ep for some E/O action to happen! And the thing that I thought was weird was that they didn't say where Elliot was, and they usually stick that in there somewhere, like he's on another case or he's in court or something. Or maybe I just missed it.

Ok. I'll go now. Can't wait for next week!

Season 10

Hey guys! I haven't signed in for a while, very busy with school. I LOVE the way season 10 is coming along, how about you? DID YOU SEE THE PREVIEW FOR THIS TUESDAY?! OMG Elliot gets shot, he BETTER NOT die!!!! I mean, of course, they've pulled this one on us before, SVU fans, so you never know what's gonna happen. I just can't wait for this one. And Olivia poses as a prostitute?! This I gotta see! HAHA. Oh well.

PS-I had posted an article a few entries back about season 10, and I'm gonna repost what they say here about WILDLIFE, this Tuesday's episode: "Olivia and Elliot pose as lovers to infiltrate the illicit wildlife trade. 'You're going to see some crazy, juicy stuff with them in that episode', says Baer." AHHH I CAN'T WAIT!

 By the way, there was an SVU marathon yesterday from 12 to 5 on USA. Of course I watched it! Actually I only got to see the first three, but it's ok. I'm glad they had it on. They need to start playing SVU more often!!! YES!

Oh well, I have tons of work I should be doing. Bye for now!

Season Premiere

WOW SVU!!!! Ahh they touched on so many things tonight like Olivia's almost-rape from Undercover, Fin's almost-transfer, and Eliott's daughter is back on the scene!

It looks like Fin isn't transferring this season. I'm happy because I really like Ice-T!! But I miss his pony-tail, lol. Poor Munch. Seriously he's had so many partners, as they mentioned Cassidy and Jeffries.

I noticed that Liv and El both don't like the new ADA, as Casey got on their nerves the last time, when she was new.

I SO can't wait for what's to come this season. I heard that they're having nude scenes? I'm totally hoping it's Liv and El and we finally see some action in that department!!!!!

Ah, SVU never disappoints. Till next time...

So...

In approximately 24 hours, give or take, the tenth season of Law and Order: Special Victims Unit will be on my television, and I will be glued to the tv for a full hour. I cannot tell you how FREAKING EXCITED I AM FOR THIS DAY TO COME!!!!!!!!!!!$%#(#*%& AHDFLSJREIDSHFLDKSAJFDLKJER OMG!!!!!!!!!!!! I watched the Emmys last night, it's a shame SVU didn't win. But congratulations to them for their nominations. Mariska looked gorgeous, as always. Anywayyyyyyyy yea. I will post an entry tomorrow night, as I will probably do every Tuesday when SVU is on because I will probably be freaking out about what happened. I promise to try not to give anything away for those of you who haven't watched it yet. TALK TO YOU ALL TOMORROW

OMG

I AM SO EXCITED FOR SVU TO COME BACK TO MY LIFE!!!!!!!!!!!! ahhh people it's Tuesday! at 10 I can't freaking wait! There's a great article that someone posted on the fanpage on facebook about it. I will post it here for all to read. It's actually amazing, gets you really excited for what's to come.

I just started reading this book about SVU, it's called "TRUE STORIES OF LAW AND ORDER: SPECIAL VICTIMS UNIT The real stories behind the best episodes of the hit TV show". It's by Kevin Dwyer. So basically the title explains it all. It tells you an episode of SVU, what number and season it is and a recap, and then it explains the real crime and what happened and all that. Really great; just got it out of the library yesterday.

Also, last night I watched Father of the Bride, which BD Wong is in. haha I never knew who he was when I watched it before. They make him look so geeky with those glasses! LOL. But he's great.

 OK I'm off to read more true crimes! I will be sure to write Tuesday!!!! <3 m
