My 1st entry

Hi, I'm Harald from Norway. I've just joined the NBC network-thingy and I thought it be cool to start a new blog. Mainly because it gives me the pleasure of putting my thoughts on completely irrelevant trivia out there, and it also felt kinda like being JD for fifteen minutes, although I know it sounds wierd.

Anyhoo, I'm not too familiar with this whole "blogging" concept and what you really write about. All I know is that I've got a load of emotions swirrling all over the place and it feels good to have a place where you can put it to paper, or screen. Earlier this summer I graduated from high school and found myself having to grow and start living like an adult. Don't get me wrong though, my parents didn't kick me out or anything, they just told me I should get a job and make my own money just to get the feel of it. And FYI, I've been working since I was thirteen and as for the whole "getting the feel of it" - thing; old news!

My dad tipped me about this phone-sales job at his firm. I know how the word phone-salesman makes you wanna throw somebody off a roof, but it's not that bad. I acctually try to sell products made by the Salvation Army to companies in all of Norway. It's kinda cool, because I can do something good for eight hours a day and still get a fair pay. I say fair and not great because making money like an adult also gives you the great pleasure of paying taxes! Wohoo! It sucks...

But, what the heck! It's just for another three months and then I'm off to join the army, guarding the norwegian-russian border. And for all of you who didn't know this; after you graduate from high school, in Norway you have to do this whole army session for a day and then 4 months after that you get a pretty white and blue letter telling you that you've been called in to do your mandatory 12 months of military service. I'm acctually looking forward to it though, I'll get in shape, learn to shoot with a rifle and meet a whole new crowd. It's gonna be though, but also great.

So, I'm guessing you've probably stopped reading right after, "Hi I'm Harald from Norway", cheesy intro I know. But, I plan to improve! Just message me if you see any spelling mistakes, as a norwegian my english can be a little off.

Holla!
