Show Ideas

Monday, March 17th, 2008, 8:21 pm

Well,  since the writers are back, and the writers are all behind now, trying to catch up and make up some lost time, I sure hope that NBC can see their way clear to actually blend the CSI new York show of CBS into maybe a two episode meld with Law & Order SVU or CI. The first part of the episode would be from the SVU point of view, the second would be from the CSI New York Point of view. Much like when CBS blended Without a trace and CSI-Crime Scene Investigators (Las Vegas) together. I really want to see this Monumental, inter studio, interaction. It would be monumental because the 2 studios would be working together, the 2 producers would be working together, Mr.Wolf and Jerry Bruckhiemer, in a 2 part episode. Please, tell me, what you all think about this idea. You writers need fresh ideas? Well, seek out those of us who actually can follow the storylines. The CSI's would collect the data and evidence for The detectives Stabler, Olivia Benson, Tutuola, and his new character, that is taking the place of Munch. The CSI guys would come and report things to the captain and the detectives when his labs found things that they could use. See, there is so much that can be done with this as a twist, or curve ball, or as a mystery.....that seems to go in circles and can't be solved right away.....I can go on and on with specifics but I'd rather get with the writers of the 2 shows and brainstorm with them. Now, I liked the fact that the guy from "Early Edition", came onto one of the shows as a lawyer. That was cool. But I want Danny Messer to meet up with the partner to the owner of that bar in Early Edition..the one that played a lawyer or a suspect on a couple of the SVU episodes. Below is a "CSI New York Workout Video that just goes to show you that both the SVU and CSI teams really get a workout...isn't that right Meloni/Stabler? All of that chasing and running that you do...

You are in GREAT shape now huh?

No need to go to the Gym to stay in shape, just keep doing those hard cardios and stuff.

Law & Order SVU critique

Monday, January 21st, 2008, 1:42 am

Ok, I just saw Christopher meloni in "Runaway Bride" which kind of seemed like Pretty Woman four.  Now, I love Law & Order SVU, and surely think that Adam is a fine fit for the show, but I think his character is a little too into the job for me. I really think that Christopher Meloni's character, Det. Stabler is a lot like a perfect fusion of Stabler and Meloni. The two trade off, and I can see a lot of himself (Meloni) in Stabler and a lot of Stabler in Meloni. Some times I wonder if Meloni sees where stabler ends and Meloni begins at the end of the shooting day. With a character so melded into him, Meloni makes me believe that he really IS stabler and a little bit of himself too. Meloni seems to do this to all of his characters that he plays. I see a lot of Stabler in all of the characters that he has played in the past too, like the one he played in RunAway Bride. His Character; Bob, was a tiney bit like Stabler. I just can't see Meloni as anything else any more after this role. Its going to be a real tough one to shed this role in the fan's eyes. Now Meloni once spoke to me over Myspace once when I was having some hard times, he gave me some really great advice.  I can't find the letter, but here is what he said to me in a couple of other messages:

 "Hey Adam,

I hate my new partner. Beck is a 3rd rate cop at best. She has no place whatsoever at SVU. Its ok though because Liv is coming back in a week and things will be normal again down at the precinct.

I read your previous message about wanting to get a part of the show and I'm gonna see what I can do for ya. Im on a very tight schedule,so I'll forward your contact information over to my people and we'll get the ball rolling for ya. What type of character do you see yourself playing?

keep in touch!

Elliot Stabler
Special Victims Unit
Badge 6313 "

"...how awesome I was on the new episode that aired tuesday night?

Just wanted to see who is paying attention.

Love,

Elliot Stabler

NYPD Special Victims Unit

Badge 6313"

Now how cool was he, to respond like that? I don't know of any actors who would do something like that. Meloni is quite the guy. I mean, If I ever came face-to-face with him, I would act like I was meeting someone from the internet that I had made friends with. I would hope that he would do the same to me as well.

He really IS a very versatile actor!

He focuses in, gets into charactor, then he keeps things live with his sense of humor. I always love to watch the SVU outtakes too. They are so funny sometimes.

Chris sure is a great fit on this show.

For the producer, the same guy who brought us Miami Vice, He sure knows crime dramas....I wonder if He and The Producer of CSI Miami could get together and do a show each, with the two show's characters blending together? Hmmmm

I hope that a writer is looking at this and getting a really big idea from this....bring us some really monumental crime drama history. The two CSIs' Miami and New York did it, but now, its time to blend some of America's favorite shows and producers to bring us some super ratings, make some super cash, and have some real fun!

I love it when they do this! I can't wait!
