To Vote or Not to Vote - That is a Question.

Wednesday, May 7th, 2008, 11:52 pm

New Hot topic on the Board, and No, it is NOT a Shakespeare ..., but as Hamletal (my own improvise') as ever.... The Question he would ask himself  facing this vital 2008 Presidential Election would sound modified like this: "To Vote or Not To Vote"....That is a question on the Boards, everyone is wondering what to do, if "your preferred and trusted candidate will not be ther on the ballot" - should you even vote for any other?...Some are saying on the board would not vote at all, if their candidate is not nominated...hmmmmm....thinking about other's ademant comments, my own came to mind!!! :) I must admit - I am at the crossroads....-for the candidate I considered to be my first choice in no longer in the race...the other candidates do not excite me with their lack of economical background and understanding of measures needed to reverse its decline and seemingly hopeless situation, as a businessperson it is a priority for me, for I believe, we would not have to worry about winning any wars if we do not not have a country to come home to (meaning its economy in a resession, unemployment, etc.)...
Who do I trust to get us out of this economical mess...? who would be a person I could vote for..Let's think....: Mr. Mc Cain -said he has economic team to handle it..( like delegating to anyone solving "money problems" is a good idea ever ), Mr. Obama - well, talks a talk, but not sure what the plan will be...and good retoric is sign of a great humanitarian, not an accountant...?!,(boy, do we need a good one this time !), forgot Mr. Obama's answer is -let's raise taxes....!!! Wow...- would that help put a last nail into coffin of slumping economy (in my humble opinion), Mrs. Clinton -hmmm... being a democrat probably is a fiscal liberal as well..., probably more moderate then Obama, but still...not as conservative as Mitt Romney.....ohhhhh where did he GO?- Life would be so much easier if he did not quit, but Did He? what happend, will he come back...? I Just Can not focus...on settling...- having to SETTLE for some candidate, just, because...mine is not available..? Is another option Not to vote?- Too much at stake! Having a right to vote is a highest honor, People FIGHT FOR VOTING RIGHTS - we all have to exercise that enormous privellege with responsibility, do our homework and research, ponder, struggle, but vote...
What to do, thank God there is time till November...- but will it be easier? Could I vote for Mitt even if he magically reappeared ...now after he QUIT? At least Hillary gets points for not quitting!!!! but can she get my vote? Can You Hillary?....
